Canada / Tobacco

Jef Lambrecht took part in a travel-work program called 'Belgen in de Wereld' in the summer of 1967. It was an important first grand trip; visiting New York, working on a farm in the Ontario Tobacco belt, sightseeing in Toronto, Niagra Falls but also visiting the Expo '67 in Montreal. It was an eye-opening trip and could be seen as a coming of age... after his return he would leave home for university in Louvian.
